BAKER™ BLANKET
 
Made in the U.S.A. since the late 1800’s, this is the stable blanket known worldwide for its traditional good looks and “tough as nails” durability. The acrylic fabric lasts for years and years with virtually no shrinkage or fading. Still “branded inside” for authenticity, the BAKER™ is now made with contour-cut styling for improved fit. The triple weave construction allows the fabric to breathe while at the same time preventing body heat from escaping.

The BAKER™ is available in either the Original Plaid (beige/black) or the more recently introduced Tartan Plaid (hunter/navy/black/red). They are both stocked in sizes 68-86”. The Original Plaid comes with navy surcingles and fancy BAKER™ striped binding. The Tartan Plaid is trimmed in hunter green. Either blanket may be custom ordered with different trim colors for a slight additional charge. Requests for smaller or larger sizes can also be accommodated.

It’s just amazing how many advances have been made in the area of waterproof and breathable outerwear in the last few years. Using new technologies, we have designed this comprehensive outerwear system for the horse that is turned out on a regular basis.

There is the extremely warm blanket version that features 400 grams of Curvofil IV polyester insulation. This certainly the warmest and most versatile winter blanket we have ever offered. It features include gusseted shoulders, bias surcingles, elastic leg straps and a tailpiece. The outer shell is a 1,200-denier polyester rip stop fabric that can take an incredible amount of abuse while the satin smooth nylon lining polishes the horse’s coat. A waterproof/breathable membrane bars water penetration yet allows water vapor from perspiration to pass through to the outside. The horse stays warm, dry and comfortable down to 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
 
For milder climates, or more moderate temperatures throughout the year, we also offer the sheet version of the BAKER™ TURN-OUT. The layer of insulation is omitted on this model. All other design specifications are the same. It offers tremendous versatility in cool or rainy weather.
 
Both versions come in sizes 68-86”. They are available in Original Plaid with navy surcingles and BAKER™ striped binding. Imported. 

BAKER™ EXPAND-O-BLANKET
 
Originally designed by Curvon, now imitated by others, the Expand-O-Blanket is just the thing for fast growing foals. Its adjustable front allows for perfect fit on foals with a blanket size between 28 and 40”.

It has a 440-denier nylon outer shell, Curvofil IV insulation, and a smooth nylon lining to shed dirt and ease cleaning. An adjustable 2” belly surcingle, macramé tailcord, and Velcro™ front closure keeps the blanket in place, yet allows for easy on-off operation. Made in U.S.A.
